TDP alleges KCR got benami contract of Polavaram

The Telugu Desam party leaders from Telangana alleged that Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s benami companies got the Polavaram project contract as quid pro quo for withdrawing the Sakala Janula Samme agitation for separate Telangana.

The T-TDP leaders, T. Devender Goud, Erabelli Dayakar Rao and R. Prakash Reddy, contended that Intercontinental Infrastructure, a sister concern of SEW -Patel-AMR JV company that got the contract, has invested in the daily newspaper Namaste Telangana.

They accused KCR of using the Telangana movement to further the business interests of his family members. They state that they have documentary proof and are challenging KCR for an open debate on this issue.
