Table Telangana Bill to End Verbal War: Amos
Hyderabad, Aug 10 (INN): Senior leader and Congress MLC KR Amos on Saturday appealed to the Congress High Command to table the Telangana Bill in Parliament at the earliest to stop the on-going war of words between the leaders of two regions.
Speaking to media persons here, Amos said that there appears to be no end to the verbal war which was triggered after the announcement of decision of Congress Working Committee on Telangana. Therefore, he said that the Centre should table the Telangana Bill in the on-going monsoon session to put a permanent end to the debates on State’s bifurcation. He said that the implementation of decision should be hastened to ensure that things does not complicate further.
Further, Amos said that all Congress leaders should accept and abide by the decision taken by the Congress High Command on giving statehood to Telangana region.
