Though all the eight recognized political parties of Andhra Pradesh agreed to attend the meeting called for the Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on the Telangan issue on January 5, the agitations galore in the state continues unabated.

The Telangana students joint action committee has decided to go ahead with its garjana at the campus of Osmania University even without the permission by the Commissioner of Police. Thousands of students are expected to flock Hyderabad tomorrow and the police apprehend breach of law and order.

Meanwhile, the seemandhra politicians of all parties formed a joint action committee today and decided to observe bandh in Andhra and Rayalaseema regions on January 4. They have also declared January 5 as a black day and proposed road and rail rasta rook.

Political leaders from all three regions of the state say that agitations will continue until a clear stand is taken by the Union Government on the united state or separation.
