T-Pressure: SI selections postponed in AP
The Andhra Pradesh government has postponed the sub-inspector recruitment exams across the state indefinitely owing to the pressure of Telangana groups. In view of the seniority issue that may crop up, the state government was forced to cancel the exams outside Telangana also.
The Home Minister, P. Sabita Indra Reddy, on Friday said the responsible government took the decision since it did not want to hurt the sentiments of the students and people of Telangana.
The Chief Minister K. Rosaiah urged the union home minister P. Chidamabaram, to make Hyderabad part of the sixth zone.
