The Congress MLAs and MPs from Telangana region, who have resigned demanding a separate T-state, have been asked to come to Delhi by AICC general secretary and in-charge of Andhra Pradesh affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad for further discussions.
Panchayati raj minister K. Jana Reddy and MP K. Kesava Rao confirmed that they have been asked to send a delegation to Delhi. The T-Congress MLAs, MPs and MLCs are meeting today to decide about sending a delegation to Delhi and also who should be part of the delegation.
The Andhra Pradesh Congress Chief Botsa Satyanarayana is also summoned to Delhi for consultations on the issue of resignations.
The invite to T-Congress leaders comes in the wake of United Andhra Pradesh Congress MLAs visit to Delhi to press for their demands.
