UPA chairperson and Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who was in Hyderabad yesterday for an aerial survey of the flood hit areas, has expressed her confidence in the leadership of K Rosaish in Andhra Pradesh. She is said to have promised all help and support to him from the Congress high command. She also assured help from the Union Government for the flood affected areas.
According to reliable sources, Sonia Gandhi has given the green signal to K Rosaiah to reshuffle the cabinet. Some disgruntled ministers will be dropped and some seniors and first time MLAs will be inducted. Rosaiah has already moved into the CM’s official chambers. The Congress high command seems to have decided to keep Rosaiah as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh until the next elections in 2014.
With these developments, the curtains have come down on Jagan-as-CM campaign.
