SHRC seeks report on attack on PRP leaders

The State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) has called for a detailed report from the Rayalaseema range IG by 11 am on November 24 on the attack on Praja Rajyam Party leaders and their vehicles by alleged Congress activists at Pulivendula in Kadapa district.

A delegation of Prajarajyam Party leaders comprising Allu Arvind, T Sitaram, Mitra and others met SHRC chairman Justice B Subhashan Reddy and submitted a memorandum on Wednesday. They said the police took no action when the incident took place and demanded action against them.

The PRP delegation also met the Director General of Police and submitted a memorandum to him on the incident. They also sought a meeting with the Governor on the same issue.
