New Delhi, Sept 22 (INN): Janata Dal (United) president Sharad Yadav on Sunday dismissed speculations that his meeting with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu was to discuss the third front for next elections.
Talking to reporters after meeting Naidu, Sharad Yadav said that they discussed the prevailing situation in Andhra Pradesh over the bifurcation issue. He blamed the Congress-led UPA Government for the uncertainty in the State and said that the announcement of division of State was done in a hasty manner which triggered protest in other regions of the State.
Justifying the Samaikhyandhra agitation, Sharad Yadav demanded that the Centre should take immediate steps to resolve the ongoing crisis in the State. (INN)
