Hyderabad, Sept 8 (INN): Congress MLC and former minister Mohammad Ali Shabbir on Sunday saluted the positive spirit of people of Telangana by ensuring the peaceful conduct of APNGOs public meeting in the State capital.
Talking to reporters at Gandhi Bhavan here, Shabbir Ali said that despite repeated provocation by the Samaikhyandhra activists, the Telangana people remained calm and expressed their high character by remaining peaceful. He alleged that the Seemandhra leaders used unparliamentary and provocative language in their speeches. However, he said that the people of Telangana did not get incited due to those speeches.
Shabbir Ali said that the Seemandhra employees need not worry about their job security as the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre would take care of their concerns while bifurcating Andhra Pradesh to carve out Telangana. He said that any number of meetings in favour of united Andhra Pradesh would not stall the formation of Telangana State and it would become a reality soon. (INN)
