Saraiah Slams Opposition for Targeting Sonia
Hyderabad, Sept 19 (INN): State Minister Baswaraj Saraiah on Thursday slammed the opposition parties for targeting Congress president Sonia Gandhi and the ruling party for its decision on Telangana formation.
Talking to reporters at the Congress Legislature Party office here, Saraiah said that the decision on Telangana formation was taken by the Congress Working Committee and UPA Coordination Committee only after all the opposition parties announced their support for bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. However, the opposition parties changed their stand after the announcement of Telangana formation and were now blaming the Congress president for the same.
Saraiah demanded that the opposition parties not only stop blaming Sonia Gandhi, but also tender an apology for making serious remarks against her.
