Rosaiah axed for being too soft

K Rosaiah was asked by the Congress president Sonia Gandhi to step down as chief minister for his inept handling of the Telangana stir and the Kadapa MP Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Odarpu Yatra. She is said to have been perturbed by his non-serious approach towards party activities, and his failure to take party MLAs along.

The main problem was reportedly that Rosaiah used to flood the party high command with reports or rather complaints on the activities of various leaders but never tried on his own to pacify them or take them along widening the gap in the party. Moreover, he has the habit of leaving all issues to be dealt with the high command without taking any responsibility to solve them himself.
