Mr Sharad Pawar has been re-elected as the National President of Nationalist Congess Party. This was happened in the National Executive Meeting in Patna. The Party leaders across the country have attended the meeting.
After his election as the Chief of NCP, he has attacked Mr.Modi’s government. He commented that the Central Government is least bothered about the interests of agricultural sector and also the farmers. The budget for agricultural expenditure was reduced from Rs.1,9852 crore to Rs.1,7000 crore. This has severely affecting the visionary projects like green revolution in eastern India and the national horticulture programme. Pawar had previously worked as the Union Minister for Agriculture in the UPA Government.
