The CBI raids on the homes of former Telecom Minister A Raja are mere eyewash, BJP said. This is too little, too late, BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said.
Raja was forced to quit the cabinet over the 2G spectrum allocation causing Rs 1.76 lakh crore to national exchequer.
The CBI searched the homes Raja and his four associates in New Delhi and Tamil Nadu in connection with spectrum probe.
JD (U) chief Sharad Yadav said that CBI was doing this futile search because of the pressure in parliament.
CBI too works according to whims and fancy of the ruling party. Therefore people have little confidence in CBI’s ability to nab political heavyweights.
