President’s rule in Karnataka?
H R Bhardwaj, Karnataka Governor, reportedly sent a report to the Union Government recommending President’s rule in the state. He is said to have stated in his report that what had happened during the business relating to confidence vote in the state assembly on Monday morning was unconstitutional.
Today, the assembly witnessed unruly scenes as the BJP government went on to win the floor test and survived the no confidence motion.
