Praja RAjyam Party alleges phone-tapping
The Praja Rajyam Party on Friday alleged that phones used by its leaders were being tapped. The party spokesman Parakala Prabhakar said that information about telephone conversations between Allu Aravind, film producer and brother-in-law of PRP president Chiranjeevi, and TRS legislator T. Harish Rao was leaked to the media.
Prabhakar said that PRP strongly believed that the party leaders’ phones were being tapped by intelligence agencies of the state and central governments.
Prabhakar said complaints would be lodged with President Pratibha Patil and Governor N.D. Tiwari, once PRP gathered enough evidence.
