The Praja Rajyam Party is ready with its first list of candidates who will contest in the ensuing general elections for a place in the AP state assembly and Lok Sabha. A formal announcement of the candidates will be made at Hyderabad on March 22.
PRP president Chiranjeevi, now on Praja Ankita Yatra in Krishna district said that the party would announce the names of about 100 to150 candidates and the remaining candidates would be announced at a later date.
Chiranjeevi reiterated that the PRP is bound by the principle of Saamajika Nyayam (Social Justice) while allotting its candidates for the polls. He, however, declared the candidature of Buragadda Vedavyas and Raavi Venkateswara Rao from Machilipatnam and Gudivada assembly constituencies respectively.
