Pakistan admits LeT role in 26/11 Mumbai attack

Pakistan has for the first time admitted that Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) carried out the November 26, 2008 Mumbai attacks in a 36 page dossier handed over to India.

The dossier termed Lashkar operations chief Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi as the mastermind and admitting the Pakistan nationality of Ajmal Amir Kasab along with some others.
It is this development that enbabled the joint statement of Manmohan Singh and Pakistan PM at the NAM summit in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt.

Pakistan has reportedly given details on each of the accused, which includes Zarar Shah, who has been identified as the person in-charge of the communications, and then there are details of proclaimed offenders like Kasab.

Pakistani authorities are going to proceed in the case, by issuing charge-sheets.
