Pak terrorists liaise with Babbar Khalsa
Indian intelligence agencies have unearthed crucial information about a possible liaison between Pakistan based terror modules LeT, JeM, Taliban, alQaida and Khalistani outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) as part of their larger plan to target prominent politicians and carry out blasts in India during the ensuing Lok Sabha polls particularly in Punjab which has an international border with Pakistan.
Punjab will go to poll in the fourth and fifth phases on May 7 and 13, 2009.
According to reliable intelligence, a joint meeting between militants of Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed with BKI chief Wadhawan Singh was held in Rawalpindi in February where they outlined a plan to unleash terror in Punjab during LS polls with specific objective of assassinating selected politicians and sought the help of local BKI activists for logistics.
Wadhawan Singh, hiding in Pakistan, is one of the 40 most wanted terrorists who found place in New Delhi’s list to Islamabad for deportation.
