Al Qaida’as terror chief Osama bin Laden has warned US President Barack Obama that a war of attrition will go on unless the war in Afghanistan is stopped.
Titled “Message to the American People,” the video features a still image of Bin Laden and an audio statement, said IntelCentre, based outside Washington. The video was released on Sunday by the As-Sahab media production branch of Al Qaeda.
If Americans want to end their confrontation with Al Qaeda, Bin Laden said they must reconsider their attitude toward the Jewish state of Israel. He wanted Obama not to follow the policies of President Bush.
The message came two days after the US marked the eighth anniversary of the deadly September 11, 2001 attacks, which claimed 3,000 lives.
Incidentally, only a few days ago, the Pakistan Prime Minister stated that Osama bin Laden was dead.
