No berths in Union Cabinet for AP
The long awaited Union Cabinet reshuffle-cum-expansion is expected to take place tomorrow and the bad news for Andhra Pradesh is that no congress MP from the state is likely to be included because of the ensuing conflict regarding the formation of a separate Telangana state.
The congress MPs from Telangana region have submitted their resignations and are out of contention for any cabinet berth. The MPs from Seemandhra region will not find any place in the cabinet so as not to antagonize their counterparts in Telangana region.
At present, S. Jaipal Reddy, from the Telangana region, is the only Cabinet minister from the state and four ministers of state from the Seemandhra region.
