Hyderabad, July 19 (INN): Former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, who is lodged at Chanchalguda Jail, was rushed to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences at Panjagutta after he fell ill.
According to sources, Mopidevi has been suffering from high blood pressure and chest pain for quite some time. He was referred to the Osmania General Hospital when he complained of chest pain on June 17 while he was taken to the NIMS on July 2 when he complained of back pain.
On Friday, he was taken to NIMS for necessary medical examinations.
Mopidevi is presently lodged in Chanchalguda Central Jail since his arrest by the CBI on May 24 last year for his alleged role in the Vanpic segment of disproportionate assets case of YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy.
