Mayawati gets another cash garland
The Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has come under sharp attack inside and outside Parliament after she got the “multi-crore” cash garland comprising notes of Rs 1000 value estimated art around Rs 15 crore at a massive rally in Lucknow on Monday.
Defying and ignoring all criticism from all quarters, BSP chief and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati was on Wednesday garlanded with currency notes said to be of the value of Rs 18 lakh. The garland comprising notes of various denominations was put around her neck at a meeting of party leaders.
UP state PWD minister Naseemuddin Siddiqui said that wherever she would go, she would henceforth be greeted with only garlands of currency notes and not with garlands of flowers.
