Macherla MLA Resigns for United AP

Guntur, July 26 (INN): Macharla MLA Pinneli Ramakrishna Reddy on Friday resigned from his post demanding that the Centre keep Andhra Pradesh united.

Pinneli said that he was resigning from his posts to respect the sentiments of people in Seemandhra regions who are against the division of the State. He said that the Centre should not reject the demand for formation of Telangana and keep the State united.

It may be mentioned that that so far 20 MLAs, including Pinneli, have resigned from their posts in favor of united Andhra Pradesh.
