The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, has revamped the chief minister’s office (CMO) in the secretariat on the eve of his stepping into his chambers.
The CM has appointed the special chief-secretary, J. Satyanarayana, who has a clean track record, as head of the CMO. Satyanarayana was recently made chairman of the TTD specified authority and is known to be highly tech-savvy. He was instrumental in computerising the stamps and registration and commercial taxes departments.
Kiran changed the entire CMO except the special secretary, K.S. Jawahar Reddy. The new officials who made it to the CMO were the rural development commissioner, S.S. Rawat, as special secretary and the Warangal collector, N. Sridhar, as additional secretary.
