With Srirkishna Committee report the Congress party’s immediate intention to drag the Telangana state issue became clear.
YS Jaganmohan Reddy and K Chandrasekhar Rao are expecting mid-term polls in the state. These leaders feeling that the present situation in the State is conducive to them. They are ready grab the moment. They want to checkmate both the Congress and TDP.
TDP’s credibility in Telangana region is on the wane. Chandrababu Naidu’s two-eye theory eventually makes him blind in both regions.
Jagan’s ‘jala deeksha’ in Delhi is only to showcase his strength to Congress party’s president Sonia Gandhi. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy’s efforts to stop MLAs joining Jagan’s deeksha failed. If the party high command takes disciplinary action against those MLAs joining Jagan’s deeksha may lead the state government into crisis.
Jagan’s impatience is known with his ambitious moves. Jagan earlier said that he cannot destabilize the State government since his father brought the present government into power. But the behind scenes are quite opposite.
In the present situation, TRS is in good position in Telangana region compared with the Congress and TDP.
