KCR calls for boycott of Rachabanda
AP Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy will commence the 20-day Rachabanda programme from Monday where the peoples problems will be addressed and welfare activities like issuance of pensions, ration cards and clearing housing bills will be taken up. The programme is intended to benefit 1.25 crore people from the poorer sections.
TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao has called for boycott of Rachabanda programme of the State government as it was intended to divert the attention of people from the Telangana agitation. He asked MPs and MLAs of Telangana to register their protest over delay in formation of Telangana by boycotting the programme.
KCR urged people to drive the leaders and officials out from villages if they participated in the Rachabanda programme. Telangana JAC chairman M. Kodandaram warned that MPs and MLAs from Telangana region would be forced to boycott the Rachabanda programme.
