Jaipur bomb blasts: medical student arrested

Rajasthan police arrested Abrar Ali, a medical student of SMS medical college, in connection with  the Jaipur serial blasts that killed 65 people on May 13. He is alleged to have supplied ammonium nitrate for the bombs used in the blasts.
Ali’s involvement was revealed by Sajid Mansoori, arrested by Gujarat police on August 16, who confessed to Ali’s involvement during interrogation.
Sajid Mansoori is one of the nine activists of the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), arrested in connection with the July 26 Ahmedabad blasts by the Gujarat police.
Along with Sajid Mansoori, others remanded to custody are Zahid Sheikh, Imran Sheikh, Iqbal Sheikh, Samsudin Sheikh, Yunus Mansuri, Gyasuddin Ansari, Arif Kadri and Usman Agarbattiwala, all in the age group of 20-25 years.
