Jagan's Petition Hearing Adjourned to Sept 30

Hyderabad, Sept 27 (INN): The CBI Special Court on Friday adjourned the hearing to September 30 on a petition filed by YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seeking permission to visit Kadapa and Guntur districts for four days in October.

In his petition filed on Thursday, Jagan sought court’s permission to leave the city for four days. He wants to visit Idupulapaya on October 1 and 2nd and he also wants to participate in farmers’ agitation on Samaikhyandhra on October 4 in Guntur. If permitted by the court, Jagan is likely to address a public meeting at Pulivendula, the first meeting after his release from Chanchalguda Jail, where he was lodged since his arrest on May 27, 2012 in the Disproportionate Assets case.

It may be mentioned that the CBI Court, which granted bail to Jagan on September 23, had directed him not to leave Hyderabad without court’s permission. (INN)
