Jagan’s camp distances itself from allegations on KVP
P. Subhash Chandra Bose, a former state minister and a loyalist of YS Jaganmohan Reddy, condemned the allegations levelled by former minister Konda Surekha against KVP Ramachandra Rao, a close aide of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy. The Jagan’s camp is trying to distance itself from the allegations.
Surekha, also a follower of Jagan, termed Rao a broker and blamed him for the death of YSR. In an open letter, the Congress legislator accused KVP of making money in irrigation contracts.
She alleged that KVP failed to discharge his duties as security advisor, resulting in the death of YSR in a helicopter crash Sep 2 last year. She also lashed out at KVP for dividing YSR’s family by taking his brother Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy to the Congress leadership to make him a minister in Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinet.
