Hyderabad, Sept 18 (INN): The CBI Special court will deliver its verdict on September 23 on the bail petition of YSR Congress party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the Disproportionate Assets case.
The CBI court on Wednesday heard the arguments from the lawyers of both the Central Bureau of Investigation and Jagan Mohan Reddy. The CBI opposed Jagan’s release on bail apprehending that he might influence the witnesses. However, the investigating agency said that it has completed the probe within the four-month deadline set by the Supreme Court and the trial would begin soon.
Jagan’s lawyers contended that he should be released on bail as the CBI has completed investigations.
Jagan is lodged in Chanchalguda Central Prison since his arrest on May 27 last year.
