Hillary Clinton. US Secretary of State, on Monday called on Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh at his office in 7 Race Course Road in New Delhi. She was accompanied by US Ambassador-designate to India Timothy Roemer among others. They are understood to have discussed terrorism and Pakistan in addition to ways and means to improve Indo-US bilateral relations.
The US Secretary of State will also meet External Affairs Minister S M Krishna during which the two sides are expected to look at modalities to take the Indo-US strategic ties to a higher level.
A few pacts, including the End User Verification agreement for the nuclear deal, under which the US would be able to supply sensitive military equipment, are expected to be signed after the discussions.
