HC asks Lakshmi Parvathi to vacate NTR residence

The A P High Court ruled that the legal heir for the Banjara Hills residential building, where the founder of TDP late N T Rama Rao lived till his death with his wife Lakshmi Parvathi, is his daughter Umamaheswari and Lakshmi Parvathi.

The HC has given two months time to Lakshmi Parvathi to vacate the house.

Earlier, a civil court in Hyderabad earlier held that the building belongs to Umamaheswari and accordingly ordered Lakshmi Parvathi to leave the building.

She preferred an appeal in the High Court. The division bench of A P High Court comprising justice B Praksasa Rao and justice Reddy Kantha Rao delivered this verdict while dismissing an appeal from Lakshmi Parvathi.
