A unique proposal on the statehood issue came onto the screen. Hyderabad be made common capital for 10 years for both Seemandhra and Telangana regions so that division of the state can go ahead, suggests senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao.
The politician appealed to Seemandhra leaders to agree for a Common Capital for ten years and also agree to separate region-wise. “We can divide the boundaries but remain united as brothers in a family. It is difficult for Seemandhra people to leave the state capital developed with their investments. But they can develop their cities with locally available resources,” he said. “The Seemandhra and Telangana people can develop their backward regions with locally available resources within ten year period,” he added.
