Exodus of TDP leaders to Praja Rajyam

New Year had given a shock to Chandrababu Naidu, when senior leaders from North Andhra districts resigned from Telugu Desam to join Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party (PRP).

Kimidi Kala Venkatrao, deputy leader of the Telugu Desam Legislature Party and MLA from Vunukur Assembly constituency in Srikakulam district, quit the party and joined the Praja Rajyam party.

TDP MLA K Jogulu and a former MLA of the party K Ganapathi, brother of Venkatrao, along with all their supporters also joined the PRP.

It is reported that these leaders took the decision to quit the party because of serious differences with TDP leader Yerram Naidu.
