eMail threat from Pakistan to Taj Hotels
Taj Mahal Palace and Tower in south Mumbai and the Taj group’s Fisherman’s Cove, a seaside resort on the outskirts of Chennai, received two threat emails each on Monday afternoon.
The Internet Protocol (IP) address of the emails was traced to Rawalpindi in Pakistan by the Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). The first threat mail was sent to Mumbai and Chennai from firstname.lastname@example.org at around 1.15pm.
All Taj Group hotels across the country have been placed on high alert and security has been strengthened.
