On Sunday, the Eamcet Committee officials had released two versions of the initial key. While the version released to the media had one set of answers, the one posted on www.apeamcet.org had a different set of answers.
According to the version uploaded on the official website, the correct answer of question number 102 in physics section of the engineering stream is ‘2’ whereas in the other version it is marked as ‘3’.
Though the students remained confused throughout the day, officials dismissed it as a mere typing error. Though the Eamcet officials dismissed it as one-off mistake, subject experts claim there are more mistakes in the initial key itself.
According to them, 15 mistakes have crept into both papers — engineering and medical — in addition to the mistakes already put out by the authorities on Saturday.
