Hyderabad, Sept 11 (INN): Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday appealed to the striking employees, teachers and all other agitators in the State not to disturb the essential services and important services like TTD, Electricity, Medical, Education etc. and to cooperate with the officials for its smooth functioning.
The Chief Minister on Wednesday directed the Chief Secretary Dr P.K.Mohanty and other senior Officials to ask the Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, District Collector, Chittoor, Superintendent of Police, Chittoor and other senior Officials, CMDs of AP Genco, AP Transco, Discoms to initiate discussions with the employees about the proposed strike in these departments and organisations and to convince them the importance of the essential of the services for the public.
Kiran Kumar Reddy also asked the officials to take all efforts to open the schools, colleges and other educational institutions, keeping in view the future of the lakhs of the students in the State.
The Chief Minister reviewed the on-going strike by the employees and teachers, proposed strike of the Electricity Organisations, TTD etc. with the Chief Secretary, officials of the CMO and other senior Officials. He also enquired about the heavy rains, floods in some of the Rayalaseema districts and other places and asked the officials to monitor the relief and water conservation measures.
