United Nations General Assembly declared 21 June as the International Yoga Day. The declaration of this day came after the call for the adoption of 21 June as International Day of Yoga by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address to UN General Assembly on September 27, 2014. Arrangements are being made to celebrate Yoga Day across the world.
In this regard, Russian President Vladimir Putin raised a doubt if Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi does yoga. He acknowledged the efforts of Modi in spreading Yoga globally. When reports asked Putin about Modi, he replies “Modi is a good man and a personal friend”
