Congress not to join T-JAC for T-State agenda
The Congress MLAs from the Telangana region, who have submitted their resignations demanding a separate Telangana state, have decided not to join forces with the Telangana Joint Action Committee (T-JAC) to chalk out a common programme of protests or agitations.
A meeting of the T-Congress MLAs and MPs was held at the residence of panchayat raj minister, K. Jana Reddy and decided that they will pursue their own agenda to realize statehood for Telangana.
Even TDP Telangana region MLAs who have resigned took of an Bus Yatra of Telangana districts. They also did not show any inclination to go along with T-JAC.
Political analysts feel that Congress and TDP is trying to marginalize the influence of TRS and its chief K Chandrasekhar Rao on the demand for a separate Telangana state.
