The Congress Party will form governments in Maharashtra and Arunachal as the verdict is clear. However, present trends show that Haryana may end up with a hung assembly with Congress being the party with more seats than others.
The Congress, along with its ally NCP, is leading in the Maharashtra polls and will emerge with majority to form the government. In Arunachal Pradesh, the Congress got a clear majority.
In Haryana, the Congress consolidated its position by bagging 32 of the 71 assembly seats declared and was leading in nine other constituencies, it will fall short of the simple majority of 46 to form the government. But, the Congress might form the government with the support of independent candidates.
