Hyderabad, Sept 11 (INN): Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy sanctioned financial assistance to the tune of Rs 180 crore under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to the poor and needy families in 30,288 cases in about three years period.
This is the highest amount sanctioned in the State under the CMRF. Depending on the medical ailment, the Chief Minister has sanctioned amounts ranging up to Rs 2 lakhs. He has also sanctioned Rs.18 crore as ex-gratia to 5,406 cases, which are not covered under the “Apatbandhu” scheme.
The Chief Minister also directed the officials concerned to process and clear all pending requests under CMRF within 15 days.
