CM Kiran takes advice of KVP
In a surprising political initiative Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy had a 90-minute meeting with Rajya Sabha member, Dr K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao at the latter’s Banjara Hills residence. The meeting assumes significance as this is the first time the CM is meeting KVP a close confidante of late YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
It is believed, that the CM discussed the current political situation in the state particularly the merger of Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party in Congress and the threat of YS Jagan’s followers leaving the Congress party. According to sources, the two politicians also discussed the Telangana issue as well as the impending state cabinet reshuffle.
According to political analysts, the meeting of CM and KVP signifies a new chapter in the state politics and may herald new alignments within the Congress party.
