The first plenary session of Chiranjeevi’s Praja Rajyam Party began at Visakhapatnam today. This is the first plenary meeting after the 2009 polls. The party was founded on August 26, 2008, at Tirupathi.
PRP president Chiranjeevi said that the party will make an introspection of its policies and programmes and will make a road map to take the concept of social justice into the people. He said the party cadre will be strengthened. He admitted that there were mistakes in the past and that he is now more alert to the political situation.
Chiranjeevi denied that PRP will merge with the Congress but said that his party may align with other political parties to implement peoples programmes.
