Chiranjeevi launches PRP membership drive

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi on October 2, Praja Rajyam Party President Chiranjeevi hoisted the flag at his party headquarters and launched the party membership drive of his party by registering Balakrishna, a mentally challenged person, as the first member.

Chiranjeevi joined as the second member. Sobha Nagireddy, Pavan Kalyan and Congress MP C Harirama Jogaiah also registered as members. A programme Ooroora Praja Rajyam was launched, whereby activists of PRP hoist party flags in every village and town and plant one crore samplings throughout the state.

Offices of PRP in all districts headquarters had been opened by the party’s district co-ordinators.

In the evening, Chiranjeevi visited Gangadevipalli near Geesukonda in Warangal district, which has been adjudged as the best Panchayat in the entire country. The public meeting was cancelled because of a heavy downpour. Chiranjeevi interacted with the villagers at the Panchayat office.
