Former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu was given intravenous (IV) fluids on Thursday night to prevent his health from deteriorating further.
Naidu was forcibly administered the fluids. NIMS media director said on the advice of medical experts Naidu was shifted to ICU and administered IV fluids.
Dr Soma Raju is supervising the health conditions of Chandrababu Naidu. Naidu has been insisting that his demands for providing relief to farmers should be met by the government.
TDP and Left parties blocked the national highways today as part of the protest. Naidu has been fasting since Friday demanding more compensation.
