CBI puts Sri Laxmi IAS behind bars
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today arrested Andhra Pradesh state government IAS officer Sri Laxmi in connection with her role in the illegal allotment of mining leases to former Karnataka Tourism Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy. The CBI has listed the IAS officer is Accused 3.
According reliable sources, Sri Laxmi did some home tension lobbying in New Delhi to avoid her imminent arrest. Obviously, her friends deserted her in her times of need.
Sri Laxmi will be produced before the Special CBI Court at Nampally tomorrow with a plea for judicial remand for 15 days.
