Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy Resigns From TDP
The letter written by Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh requesting him to call for an all party meet on the issue of Telangana has raised a hue and cry among the TDP cadre and party office bearers.
While MLAs Praveen Reddy and Amarnath Reddy went public with their displeasure about TDP president’s unwarranted initiative, Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy submitted his resignation stating that no one is bothering about the fate of Rayalaseema. He accused Chandrababu that though he is from Rayalaseema, he is not concentrating on the welfare of Rayalaseema and is only concerned about Telangana.
Meanwhile, TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao is still camping in New Delhi amid reports that TRS will merge with Congress as soon as an announcement is made about the formation of a separate Telangana state.
