BJP leader Vanam Jhansi dies in road accident

The BJP spokesperson Vanam Jhansi died in a road accident on Saturday. Her vehicle collided with another vehicle in Kadtal, Amanagal mandal in Mahabub Nagar district.

She died on the way while shifting to Hyderabad. Doctors at DRDO Apollo hospital confirmed her death. Jhansi was an active member of ABVP in her college days. She had completed law from Padmavati University and was doing Ph D from Osmania University.

Jhansi had worked as president of Mahila Morcha and as vice-president. Andhra Pradesh BJP unit shocked with sudden demise of an active party leader.

Jhansi had contested from Achampet constituency several times. Jhansi is survived by two sons. One son is doing engineering, the other is in Intermediate.
