Assets row: KCR vs Chandrababu Naidu
Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao took objection to TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s description of him and his party leaders as Vasool Rajas, and threatened to file a suit of defamation if an unconditional apology is not tendered.
KCR said that he has only white money and the public has complete knowledge about the properties Chandrababu Naidu owns, unlike the former chief minister YS Rjasekha Reddy who owns benami properties.
The TRS chief said that he owned only 24 acres of land, 2 acres in Siddipet and 22 acres in Jagdevpur in Medak district, a house each in Banjara Hills of Hyderabad and in Karimnagar. He added that he personally mobilised Rs 4 crore for Namaste Telangana by taking a loan and invested Rs 55 lakh in T-News.
KCR challenged Chandrababu Naidu to an open debate on the assets owned by both of them.
