Hyderabad, Sept.1 (INN): The APNGOs on Sunday made it clear that the public meeting demanding the Centre to keep Andhra Pradesh united will be held in Hyderabad as planned on September 7.
Talking to reporters here, APNGOs Association president Ashok Babu said that the meeting would be held as scheduled and there was no question of withdrawing the decision. He condemned the opposition to the meeting and said the APNGOs had every right to hold protest in Hyderabad. He requested that the State Government permit the proposed meeting at the earliest.
A poster of “Save Andhra Pradesh” was also released on the occasion. Ashok Babu informed that Rs 10 coupons were being sold to mobilise funds for the proposed meeting. He said that leaders from all political parties would be invited for the meeting.
